I got to the Troup Tyler location for a haircut. I waited a couple of minutes to check in because 2 customers were blocking the registers. I was told that I would not be able to sign in because the shop closed in about 5 minutes. Not the end of the world. But the open sign is on, it's not yet closed. I would have appreciated them cutting my hair. I hardly ever write a review on anyone, but this just hit me the wrong way. I always OVER tip. I'm a good customer. (I always take care of my customers in my business. Never would I tell them sorry, we are open tomorrow.) I will find another place that maybe wants my business. I have been a customer since the store opened.

Today 8/11/2018 I go in for the MVP at the Troop location. Hair cut great. Shampoo and massage wonderful. Check out was a nightmare. I was given military discount for the whole experience when they advertised that the mvp portion (shampoo and message) is free for military. So $15 experience jump to $25. I also show my touchdown card that is full for half price haircut. Was told the military discount and touchdown card can not be combined. I was not given a new card with a punch either. I gladly paid for the mvp but I’m not returning. Why have a touchdown card that gets punched when I get military discounted haircuts if I can’t use it after the 6th punch?
